Building Wind Farms

American Clean Power (ACP) is the leading voice of today’s multi-tech clean energy industry and they wanted to tell an inspiring story of someone working on an offshore wind project.

The objective

American Clean Power (ACP) is the leading voice of today’s multi-tech clean energy industry and they wanted to tell an inspiring story of someone working on an offshore wind project. After seeing several projects from Worldview Films, they asked us to tell the story of a union worker building the onshore substation for Vineyard Wind.

The solution

While filming on location at Vineyard Wind, we ran into Greny Bartells who was in the electricians’ union and learning the trade. We loved her story and asked if we could interview her. She agreed but was a little unsure because it was her first time doing an interview on camera. We hung out for a bit chatting and getting the equipment set up and she completely opened up. What unfolded was one of my favorite interviews I’ve ever conducted. Greny is a beautiful soul.
