We Are Offshore Wind

Vineyard Wind is currently building the nation’s first commercial-scale offshore wind energy project over 15 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. The project will generate clean, renewable, affordable energy for over 400,000 homes and businesses across the Commonwealth, while reducing carbon emissions by over 1.6 million tons per year.

The objective

This is one of the first films we did for Vineyard Wind. The client wanted us to tell a more human story about the first commercial-scale offshore wind farm in the US that they were building and highlight the many jobs that would be created by the project.

The solution

We spent packed days filming all over the coast of Massachusetts and Martha’s Vineyard. We met a lot of the folks involved in building the wind farm and had a lot of fun getting to know them. Some of them even let us film at their houses. Everyone was excited to be a part of something big.
